Kataklysmos festival, Larnaca 2018 - Part I

A religious holiday linked to the floods mentioned in the book of Genesis but also in the Greek myth of Deukalion is celebrated annually for several days around the end of May. While the celebrations include games, singning competitions, dances, swimming and throwing water at each other (to purify one-self from the evil spirits), I have solely focused on the traditional bazaar that runs along the promenade of Larnaca. This year I managed to be back home during this festival and took to the streets almost daily to photograph the bazaar.
I have split this into two parts so that I don't cram too many photos in a post.
